Appendix A. Common Vista Keyboard Shortcuts

As you master Windows Vista, you’ll find yourself performing the same actions repeatedly. Vista includes numerous shortcut keys that enable you to get things done faster than you otherwise would by using the traditional way of selecting from menus.

Here you’ll find several tables that list the shortcut keys Windows Vista supports. You might never need to learn most of them, but you should peruse this list regularly and add new shortcut keystrokes to your keyboarding repertoire. Even Windows veterans find that if they review Windows’ list of shortcut keys every once in a while, they pick up a shortcut key they had forgotten existed or that they overlooked the first time.
