Keying on Different Backgrounds

On the same sequence and background you have been using, use the two additional clips found in the Greenscreen Clips bin to create two additional composites.

GOALS

1. In the Project window, double-click the GREENSCREEN CLIPS bin to open it.

2. Make two titles in the Title tool. On the first, create a bright orange rectangle that fills the screen.

3. Save the title in the Greenscreen Clips bin and call it ORANGE 02.

4. On the second title, create a crimson rectangle that fills the screen.

5. Save the title to the Greenscreen Clips bin and call it CRIMSON 03.

6. On V1, edit in six seconds of the ORANGE 02 title right after the first Key effect is completed in the sequence.

7. Edit in four seconds of the CRIMSON 03 title on V1 right after the ORANGE 02 title.

8. Edit the unused GREENSCREEN TAKE 02 clip on V2 over the orange background.

9. Edit the unused GREENSCREEN TAKE 03 clip on V2 over the crimson background.

10. Apply a COLOR EFFECT to boost the saturation on the green-screen clips.

11. Add a SPECTRAMATTE effect to both clips, keeping the Color Effect as well.

12. Use the SCALING and CROPPING parameters in SpectraMatte to crop out some of the unwanted garbage in the green-screen clip.

13. Adjust the TOLERANCE, KEY SAT LINE, KEY SAT, and SOFTNESS settings on both clips to get the best result.

14. Adjust the SPILL settings on both clips to remove any green spill.
