With the DynamoDB Java SDK, we can either use the AmazonDynamoDB client directly or the wrapper client for DynamoDB. The wrapper client abstracts away some of the complexity of using the AmazonDynamoDB client directly. I will show the use of the wrapper client in this book; however, I will add the corresponding use of the AmazonDynamoDB client in the code files for the book.
