If you are new to IAM policies, you may create them using the Policy Generator. Go to the IAM Dashboard, click Policies on the left, and click Create Policy at the top to go to the Create Policy page. You can search for the service you want (such as DynamoDB) and select the actions you need. You also need to select a resource, which is a table in our case.

Actions are classified into List, Read, and Write actions.
