21.5. Summary

Workflows created by SharePoint Designer are subject to the same administrative boundaries as the ones that are available out of the box in SharePoint or the ones developed programmatically. However, because the deployment process and compilation of SharePoint Designer workflows are different, many of the SharePoint administration settings don't apply to them. This chapter discussed the various SharePoint site administration settings that apply to workflows created by SharePoint Designer. Along the lines of workflow administration, this chapter also discussed best practices in migrating and troubleshooting workflows created by SharePoint Designer.
