13.4. Summary

In this chapter, I discussed the abilities of SharePoint Designer to create Web site layout designing elements. You learned how to create and use DWTs, master pages, and page layouts. While DWTs and master pages can be used on non-SharePoint sites, the page layouts feature is only available with SharePoint sites that are based on the Publishing site template.
