Social media mining is technical, and is occasionally as much an art as a science. We hope to have given readers a leg up on the subject by walking them through these extended case studies, each involving a different style of analysis. However, gaining a mastery of these techniques will certainly entail readers scraping their own text-based data, and applying the tools demonstrated here.
