The following steps will help you to download the latest patch definitions:
- Connect to vCenter Server using the HTML5 client as an administrator.
- Use the left-hand pane or the inventory Menu to bring up the Update Manager page:
- On the Update Manager screen, navigate to Settings | Patch Downloads and click DOWNLOAD NOW:
- You should see a Download patch definitions task completed successfully in the Recent Tasks pane.
