The Erase Tool

Another very useful tool is the Erase tool. Its icon resembles a small eraser. The Erase tool is used to get rid of objects you don’t want in your project. Once you’ve selected the Erase tool from the toolbar, you’ll notice that the pointer changes into a small eraser. To get rid of an object, all you need to do is click on it with the eraser.

You can also use the eraser to erase multiple objects at once using a method similar to selecting multiple objects with the OST. Once you have selected all the objects to erase, click on any of them and the entire range of objects will be deleted.
