Magnetic Cursor

Let’s say you want to place a bunch of different notes to all start or stop at the same place and that place doesn’t fall on a beat. You may want to try the Magnetic Cursor setting. When you use this setting, everything you move toward the cursor will jump to its exact location on the timeline. This can be very handy when you’re trying to create an offbeat punch with several parts or notes playing at once. I will demonstrate this in the following exercise.
