Memory Lane—In Point Reyes National Seashore this tunnel of Cyprus trees leads to the Marconi installation, one of the first places that broadcast wireless radiograms. The trees are much photographed and quite visually spectacular. With this image I intentionally “erred” on the overexposure side and processed with the idea of creating a slightly high-key and evocative image.

Nikon D810, 92mm, six exposures with shutter speeds ranging from 1/20 of a second to 2.5 seconds, each exposure at f/22 and ISO 64, tripod mounted; processed in Photoshop and Silver Efex Pro.
