plank Rotation
Plank rotations are a fun alternative to the traditional side plank. Rotating the body through multiple planes of motion challenges your balance and coordination and will tone the obliques, back, hips, thighs, and shoulders.
Begin in a full push-up position, with wrists under shoulders, core engaged, and legs extended.
Raise your left arm toward the ceiling as you slowly rotate your body to the left. Lift from the bottom of the rib cage, opening the chest. Return to the starting position and repeat on the opposite side.
