Yelling, “I’m a star!” as loudly as possible is optional during this routine, but highly recommended. That brief moment of levity may make you forget how much your legs and lungs are burning during this blockbuster workout.
CAUTION
When performing X-jacks and stars, it’s easy to overcompensate by bending from the hips when landing. If you’re looking at the floor, there’s a good chance this is happening. In time it will stress your lower back, so keep your chest up, look forward, and engage your core.
