Squat Hold

A simple variation on the traditional squat, the squat hold is used to build isometric strength but will also tone your thighs, hips, and butt. Be prepared to feel the burn.

Stand tall, feet shoulder width and toes pointing forward.

With your weight in your heels, inhale as you bend at the knee, lowering your body until the thighs are parallel to the floor. Extend your arms for balance and hold.
