You're going to need a few things in order to do this recipe:

1. An active Azure subscription in which you have permission to create Azure Functions. You can sign up for a free trial at https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free.
2. A Business Central online sandbox. You can use a previous environment that you've created in previous recipes, as long as it is not a production one. You can also refer back to the Setting up your development sandbox recipe in Chapter 1, Let's Get the Basics Out of the Way, for instructions on how to set up a new one. If you use a previously created sandbox, then make sure to uninstall any other applications that you installed using this book.
3. Download the ch7/11-consume-azure-function/ch7-consume-azure-function-start.zip file from GitHub (use the link at the start of this chapter) and extract it to your local machine.

In the first part of this recipe, we'll focus on creating and publishing Azure Function, and in the second part, we'll consume it using a Business Central application. For the AL portion, you'll just need to create the function to call the Azure Function. I've already provided you with the logic to run the function from Customer Card.
