The developer portal is the place where the documentation of the API is published. It helps the customers to understand the APIs and get up to speed quickly. The developer portal not only contains documentation but also allows developers to sign in and get access to API products. The developer portal also provides the option try out the APIs.
The developer portal for the APIM service will be in the format https://<ServiceName>.portal.azure-api.net:
- In our scenario, ShipAnyWhere is the service name and the portal URI will be https://shipanywhere.portal.azure-api.net/. You can navigate to the developer portal from the Azure portal itself as shown:
- When you open the developer portal, you will land on a default landing page:

- When you click on the API menu, you will have a page where all APIs to which you have access will be available:
- Click on the version of the API, which opens up a developer console listing all the APIs:
