As human beings, we use our eyes and our brain to make sense of the various visual scenarios we are exposed to. When we look at an image, we are capable of identifying its contents, making sense of any text in the image, and so on. Traditionally, image processing software was used to perform these tasks. Azure Computer Vision APIs provide developers with advanced algorithms to extract, analyze, and understand content hidden in images. 

Computer Vision APIs allow developers to use capabilities such as image tagging, categorizing, face recognition, optical character recognition, and thumbnail creation in their applications.
