To step through this recipe, you need to have two different sets of ESXi Servers: some of them should be rich and thick (four-socket servers with more memory) in terms of capacity and other should be thin (two-socket servers with less memory) in terms of capacity. You also need a vCenter Server and vSphere Web Client. No other prerequisites are required.
