In order to integrate Yammer, you'll need to disable any SharePoint social features on your existing sites. This configuration is performed per-site and doesn't require the removal of the newsfeeds component software, just displayed web parts. In the following sections, we'll look at disabling the social features, depending on your SharePoint Server platform (SharePoint Server 2016 or 2019, or SharePoint Server 2013).
