As you have seen so far, the services and applications that are part of the Microsoft 365 platform are extensive. However, it would be naive to think that all organizations only use applications or services provided by a single vendor. Part of the power and flexibility of the platform is the ability to connect and integrate other products and datasets.

In this chapter, we'll look at what it takes to configure some of the application interfaces so you can bring in other data sources to help facilitate collaboration using the Microsoft 365 platform. We'll look at the following topics:

• Monitoring workload usage and usage patterns
• Monitoring license usage

We'll start by discussing what options are available for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, and Flow/Power Automate.
