Starting the event

When it is time to start and produce the event, you'll need a computer with the Teams desktop client installed. Follow these steps to initiate the event:

  1. Launch the Microsoft Teams desktop client and select Calendar from the left-hand side:

  1. Click on the event in the calendar.
  2. Select Join:

  1. Select the audio and video options. Then, click Join now:

  1. Similar to producing a Live Event in Yammer, select a video stream from a camera from the tray at the bottom of the screen, or select the Share button to share an app or the desktop. When you are ready to show your content to the meeting, click Send live.
  2. When you are ready to begin the broadcast, click Start and then Continue when you're prompted to start the event:

  1. When you are ready to end the event, click the End button. Confirm that you are ending the event by clicking the End live event button:
