2 cups water

1 heaping handful of spinach

½ cucumber, cut into chunks

Juice of ½ lemon

2 stalks celery, cut into chunks

½ cup (or ½ handful) fresh cilantro

½ cup (or ½ handful) fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley

1–2-in piece fresh ginger, peeled and cut into chunks

In a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients. Blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately!

tip

If you prefer a colder smoothie, replace ½ cup water with ½ cup crushed ice.
