We created the Conscious Cleanse Plate as a visual guide to a typical meal on the Conscious Cleanse. Two thirds of the plate is filled with nonstarchy vegetables, and the remaining one third comes from your choice of the following: animal protein, starch (nongluten grain or cooked starchy vegetable), beans, nuts, or seeds. Think of nonstarchy veggies as the center of your food universe, and you’ll be on your way to reducing aches and pain in your body, slaying inflammation, healing your gut, and releasing extra weight.

Wondering what you’re going to eat on the 14-day Conscious Cleanse? Here is your at-a-glance guide!

  • Start the day with 1 quart warm lemon water.
  • When hungry, have 1 quart green smoothie as your first meal.
  • At lunch and dinner, follow the Conscious Cleanse Plate. Eat unlimited nonstarchy veggies, plus your choice of an animal protein or a starch (nongluten grain or cooked starchy vegetable) or beans or nuts/seeds.
  • Enjoy one to three servings of fresh fruit per day, as desired.
  • Drink at least half your body weight in ounces of pure water. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, you would drink 75 ounces of water.
  • Snack between meals if hungry. (Just be mindful when switching food combining categories, and when in doubt, choose raw veggies.)
