Jules’ older boys ask for this refreshing smoothie bowl by name! Dragon fruit, also called pitaya, is a superfood known for rejuvenating the liver and delivering a hefty dose of antioxidants. It brings a vivid pink color and sweetness to this bowl—your kids might think you’re letting them eat sorbet for breakfast!

CLEANSE
2 (100g) dragon fruit (pitaya) smoothie packs (Pitaya Plus brand recommended)
1 cup frozen mango
½ avocado, frozen
1 banana, frozen
1-in piece fresh ginger, peeled and cut into chunks
Juice of ½ lime
Handful of romaine lettuce
To garnish (optional)
Fresh dragon fruit, fresh berries, granola, shredded coconut
1 In a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients. Blend on low until smooth and creamy, using the tamper if needed to push down the ingredients. (Keeping the setting on low is the key to a smooth, creamy consistency.)
2 Transfer to a bowl, and top with desired garnishes.
tip
