In this chapter, we explored each of the workspaces within the Operations console and you learned how to create views, groups and user roles. You should also now feel comfortable connecting your OpsMgr environment to an OMS workspace.

Towards the end of the chapter we discussed the various global management group settings in the Operations console before giving you an introduction to the scaled-down Web console and its capabilities.

In the next chapter, we'll show you how to deploy and manage Windows agents and you'll find out how to connect those agents to multiple OpsMgr management groups. You will also learn how to deploy cross-platform monitoring by installing an agent to Linux.
