This option lets you specify a rotation angle for the XRef you are attaching, as shown in the following screenshot:

You can specify a rotation angle for your XRef or check the box that says Specify On-screen, as shown in Figure 9.8, to specify the rotation angle in the drawing area while inserting the XRef.
