As mentioned in the previous section, the first step is to set the selection filter to Vertex. After that, select any vertex (or vertices) in a mesh object, and then you can use the Move Gizmo (or the move command) to change the location of that vertex in any direction. The following diagram shows two examples of moving a mesh vertex:
