Installing Family Tree Maker Version 10
Most computers use an autorun feature when you put a new program CD into your CD-ROM drive—the CD begins to run without you having to do anything.

Family Tree Maker’s installer will encourage you to close any programs you have running at the time you begin to install Family Tree Maker 10. (This is a good idea whenever you are installing software.)
