Adding Place Holders
Many times you will want to incorporate a family story created in another program, or some special hand-drawn charts or photo pages in your book. The place holder allows you to reserve a set number of pages anywhere in your book to insert these other items after printing.

TIP
You will want to give the place holder a descriptive name so that you can easily recall what will go into those pages. This item name will be displayed in the Outline for list and, unlike in the other reports, you cannot open this item to refresh your memory about what is in it.

Don’t forget that the Index must be the last item in the Outline for list. In fact, if you try to move something below it, Family Tree Maker will open a message box explaining that you cannot do that.
