Using Quick Search by Name
The Index of Individuals has a built-in quick search where you can easily type in the name of the individual for whom you are searching. This is the easiest way to locate an individual in your Family Tree file.

There are two other ways to access the Index of Individuals dialog box. You can press the F2 key or click on the Index of Individuals button.

TIP
The Quick Search is not case sensitive. You can type the name in uppercase, lowercase, or mixed case.
