I remember the first time I watched the movie Star Wars. I recall being so amazed by the sound of the blasters firing. Later I remember watching a documentary that explained that the blaster sound was made by tapping on wires. We’ll actually be using a blaster sound similar to the one used in the movie later in this section. Regardless of the sounds you decide to use, Blitz3D makes them easy to load.

Note: Audio File Formats

Digital audio files come in a variety of different formats, many of which are supported by Blitz3D. These include .raw, .mod, .s3m, .xm, .it, .mid, .rmi, .wav, .mp2, .mp3, .ogg, .wma, and .asf.
