We’ve finally finished with the basics of BASIC programming and moved on to some of the graphical elements. With the skills you’ve just started learning, you will soon be able to make your own fully three-dimensional games!
This chapter might have seemed a little simple. While we have just started learning to make simple shapes, these are the building blocks of much more complex objects. Using these shapes, we will be able to make much more complex things in the upcoming chapters.
This chapter covered the following concepts:
An overview of the 3D world
Creating basic shapes
Coloring
Textures
Object order
In the next chapter, we will learn how to move and control the objects we just created. Sweet!
