Once your packages are packed and have shipping labels attached, you're ready to drop them off. You can, of course, manually go into your shipping provider's office and drop off the packages.

But once you start getting more than a couple of orders a week, you'll want to schedule pickups. Most shipping providers will let you schedule pickups ahead of time, and you can even have a recurring pickup time.

If you're in the US, you can use United States Postal Service (USPS), which has a very easy to tool to schedule a pickup. I won't get into detail here, but I've documented this process on my site (https://www.speakinginbytes.com/2017/11/schedule-usps-pickup/).
