Formatting Combination Charts
| Q1: | I created a Pie-of-Pie or Pie-of-Bar chart, but I'm having trouble formatting it. |
| A1: | These combination chart types follow some fairly rigid rules. You cannot select either pie individually. They are always side by side, and you cannot move them, although you can change their relative size. To show the link between the two charts, you can add or remove Series lines; however, you cannot reformat these connecting lines. |
Opening the Chart Gallery
| Q1: | I tried to open one of the chart type galleries, but the file wouldn't open or I received an error message. |
| A1: | If you've already worked with a custom chart, Excel might have opened and hidden one or both workbooks. To make sure you can open and view both files, close all open workbooks and exit Excel; then restart the program and immediately open these two workbooks. |
