How FrontPage Fits into Office

If you're new to FrontPage, or Web page design and management in general, you'll be able to leverage much of what you know about the traditional Office applications into FrontPage. Granted, you'll miss a few Office-wide features (such as AutoShapes connectors and the capability to tile all open windows), but experienced Office users generally will find the learning curve for FrontPage much lower than that for competing products.

Although the other Office applications can lay some claim to the "Web-enabled" marketing cheer, FrontPage is the real thing. If you're serious about designing and maintaining more than a few pages—a task easily handled by Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access, each in its own way—you need FrontPage.
