Making the Phone Speak with Text-to-Speech
Providing spoken feedback to the user via Text-to-Speech (TTS) can give your app a modern and highly interactive feel. TTS complements the speech recognition components of the phone and can be used to prompt users for input, to confirm users’ input, to read the passages of text, and many other tasks.
