A Note About the Sample

The source code for this chapter can be found in the FileAndProtocolAssociations directory, in the downloadable sample code. In the sample, the FileAndProtocolAssociations solution contains two phone app projects that demonstrate registration and launching of a file type and protocol association. The WPUnleashed.FileAndProtocolAssociations project performs the registration when it is first run. The other project, WPUnleashed.AppThatLaunchesACustomFileType, demonstrates the effect of launching a file or protocol from another app deployed on the phone.
