Turmeric Latte
with bananas & maple

Turmeric is the spice that gives curry powder its golden color, but it’s also a great addition to smoothies. The coconut milk enhances turmeric’s anti-inflammatory properties.

 

112 cups unsweetened plain or vanilla coconut milk beverage

1 tbsp maple syrup

2 frozen medium bananas

2 tsp ground turmeric

  1. 1 In a blender, combine coconut milk, maple syrup, bananas, turmeric, and black pepper to taste. Blend on high speed until smooth.
  2. 2 Pour the mixture into two chilled glasses, sprinkle a pinch of freshly ground black pepper on top, and serve immediately.
