Spinach & Pears
with lemon

Spinach and pear should seem like a no-brainer pairing. Pears bring the filling fiber, while spinach offers vitamins and other nutrients to keep you strong to the finish.

 

1 cup skim milk

2 medium pears, Anjou or Bartlett varieties recommended, peeled, cored, and diced

2 cups raw baby spinach

1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

  1. 1 In a blender, combine milk, pears, spinach, lemon juice, and as many ice cubes as needed. Blend on high speed until smooth.
  2. 2 Pour the mixture into two chilled glasses and serve immediately.
