Spicy Kale Chips

Kale chips are still one of the hottest food trends around. Making these chips in an air fryer makes them easier to cook, more affordable, and crispier.

MAKES 4 servings • SERVING SIZE 1 serving

5 cups packed kale leaves, stems removed

2 tsp canola oil

½ tsp chili powder

½ tsp kosher salt

1. Set the air fryer temp to 370°F.

2. In a large bowl, combine the kale and canola oil. Add the chili powder and salt. Gently massage the leaves with the spices.

3. Working in batches, place half the kale in the fryer basket and cook until crispy, about 4 to 5 minutes. Pause the machine halfway through to shake the basket.

4. Transfer the chips to a platter and allow to cool before serving.

TIP For a smokier edge, use some chipotle chili powder.
