Install home run conduit and conductors inside the building to the
inverter location.
Install DC and AC disconnects and a PV meter, if required.
Complete all preoperational testing, and document each step.
Do a complete system start-up.

Module Marking
PV modules, the smallest units in a PV array, must have permanent labels on the
back showing their standard test condition (STC) numbers and any other
certifications. Labels are important to you for your safety and ability to know
what you are dealing with. They are supposed to be permanent on the modules,
disconnects, and any other locations that the NEC or UL requires, which means
for the life of the system.
When considering system labels, look at labels that will hold up and be
readable for 20 to 40 years. That limits your choice to hard plastic, etched, or
metal labels. These labels will have to be scribed, punched, or stamped. Then
attach them permanently with a rivet or something that will not melt in the sun.
