homemade Almond Milk
with bananas & vanilla

You’ll be amazed how scrumptious homemade almond milk can be. It’s fresher, creamier, free of additives, and totally worth the extra time, especially for your taste buds.

 

1 cup raw almonds

2 medium frozen bananas

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

  1. 1 Place almonds and 1 cup water in a small bowl and refrigerate overnight. Drain before adding to the blender.
  2. 2 In a blender, combine almonds and 2 cups fresh water. Blend for 1 to 2 minutes and then strain through a fine mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth.
  3. 3 In a clean blender, combine strained almond milk, bananas, and vanilla extract. Blend on high speed until smooth.
  4. 4 Pour the mixture into two chilled glasses and serve immediately.
