1 cup raw almonds
2 medium frozen bananas
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 Place almonds and 1 cup water in a small bowl and refrigerate overnight. Drain before adding to the blender.
2 In a blender, combine almonds and 2 cups fresh water. Blend for 1 to 2 minutes and then strain through a fine mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth.
3 In a clean blender, combine strained almond milk, bananas, and vanilla extract. Blend on high speed until smooth.
4 Pour the mixture into two chilled glasses and serve immediately.
