After your images are ready, let's create a new scene within Maya and import these images. All the 3D Modeling information is saved into a file known as scene. Follow these steps:

1. Click on File| New Scene.
2. Save the Scene you have just created.
   1. Click on File | Save scene as....
   2. Give your scene a name.
   3. Click on Save.
