The Cursor

The Cursor is used to provide an indication to the object which is currently being gazed at. You can use any object for an indicator, such as arrow, circle, and so on. In this case, we will use the reference cursor from HoloToolkit. To add a Cursor into the scene, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Assets | HoloToolkit | Input | Prefabs| Cursor.
  2. Drag and drop the Cursor prefabs in the Object Hierarchy.

The cursor maintain states depends on when it is On Hologram, Off Hologram or even it is interacting with Hologram; very similar to how a mouse cursor behaves when we do a mouse hover or click. The script attached to the Cursor Game Object (ObjectCursor) takes care of everything, along with interacting with GazeManager.
