Holographic application

Visualization for Remote Monitoring is planned through a holographic application, and as per the scenario prioritization exercise, real-time monitoring is the finalized scenario. The objective of the selected scenario is to provide new real-time data received from the sensors, identify abnormalities or predict critical situations, and recommend actions to the user so that the user can make an informed decision and action it. To elaborate the scenario, let's break it down into following sections:

  • Primary View: When the application is launched, the user should be able to view a hologram of the building, and roam around and view it from different angles. At the launch of the application, audio narration guides the user about the application features. The narrative will mention what they can all interact with within this application and how they interact.
  • Wings / floors / rooms: At the start of the application, the user should be able to view different building wings, floors, and rooms from outside.
  • Sensors data: On gazing at any of the rooms, the user should be able to see the last data received from the sensors for that room. For example, this application should show the last known temperature, fire warning state, and smoke warning state for any of the selected rooms within the building. On Air-Tapping on the room, the application will open a flyout with the room sensor details. The room details should contain the room location, such as wing/floor/room number, and so on, along with the sensor details, such as room temperature, smoke, and fire sensor details.
  • Fault details and recommendations: In case there is a sensor fault or warning about high temperature, smoke, or fire, the holographic application will automatically get highlighted at the start of the application itself.
