The holographic application is a specialized Universal Windows Application, so it can connect with any of the cloud services; all it needs is an Internet connection. So, to achieve this, we plan to create custom Web APIs, which will be consumed by the holographic application. These Web APIs will be responsible for exposing storage data--received from devices--and transforming and structuring the data in the required schema format as expected by the holographic application.
