This is a technique for extending existing binary classifiers to solve multiclass classification problems. To address multiclass classification problems, several algorithms have been proposed and developed based on neural networks, DTs, Random forest, k-nearest neighbors, Naive Bayes, and SVM. In the following sections, we will discuss the Naive Bayes and the DT algorithm as two representatives of this category.
