Shoeless
YOU HAVE LOST
YOUR SHOES
You have been oered a new job and dream
of preparing for Day 1. Should you have had
your hair styled? What outt should you
wear, and which shoes? Tension mounts.
Where have you put your shoes? You search
frantically but nd none. Resigned, you take it
all as a sign you’re meant to stay home.
Action Your dream reects how daunted
you feel about considering taking a new job.
It shows you self-sabotaging to stop making
any career move. Be glad the dream gave a
clear message about your reticence—
replace it with courage.
YOU ARE RELUCTANT TO
TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES
Upon visiting a temple, your attention is drawn
to rows of other people’s shoes—sandals,
boots, loafers—but you are determined not
to take yours o, despite someone’s polite
request. They might get stolen!
Action Are you too possessive? Is there also
a lack of trust here, seldom wanting to risk
loss of any sort, even where others are
content to trust, as the temple visitors
showed? Try not to cling too tightly to your
possessions. What is yours will come to
you, be it shoes—or perhaps a
new relationship.
YOU ARE
WALKING BAREFOOT
It’s a glorious summer’s day, and you are
walking barefoot in the park. Suddenly, there’s
an explosion nearby. People run out of the
park, away from danger. But you go in the
opposite direction, curious to see the damage.
You then realize you are shoeless: jagged
pieces of metal and burning debris litter the
pavement, and you have hurt your feet badly.
Action Is good-turned-bad a frequent
theme in your life? Your curiosity led you
down the wrong route, and you suered for
it. Consider how to rein in your impetuous
actions and learn to be more patient. All
will be revealed in due course.
