You can share notes with others in a handful of different ways, just as you can share other Outlook items. For example, you can e-mail a note to someone or print it to save a hard copy or send with a report. You can also use the Clipboard to copy notes to other Outlook items or other programs.
E-Mail a Note
Open the Notes folder and select the note you want to send as e-mail.
Choose Forward from the Actions menu to open a message window with the note attached to the message.
Add some text, if desired.
Click in the Subject field and modify the subject, if desired.
Open the Notes folder and select the note you want to print.
Choose Print from the File menu.
Specify the number of copies you want to print.
Click OK to print the note.
Tip
If you right-click a note and choose Print, Outlook sends the note to your default printer without prompting you for any printing options.
Try This!
You can print more than one note at a time. Select all the notes you want to print and choose Print from the File menu, just as you would for a single note. Select the Start Each Item On A New Page option if you want to print each note on a separate page.
Copy or Cut a Note
Open the Notes folder and open the note you want to cut or copy.
Highlight the text in the note.
Press Ctrl+C to copy the text to the Clipboard.
Open the program or Outlook item where you want to use the note text.
Click Paste in the ribbon.
Tip
If you click a note icon and choose Copy from the Edit menu or press Ctrl+C, the note is placed on the Clipboard as an object, not as text.
Tip
When you cut a note, Outlook removes all the text from the note, but doesn’t delete the blank note from the Notes folder. To delete the note, select it and click Delete.
