Jessica Scheurer was
born in Miami in 1985,
but grew up happily by
the lake in the beautiful
land of clockworks and
chocolates (Switzerland).
Having always loved
paper and pens, she
readily studied at ECAL
(Ecole Cantonale d’Art
de Lausanne). In summer
of 2008 she graduated
with a Bachelor degree
in Graphic Design and
left the school with a
bit of extra baggage:
her oversized laptop.
During the course of her
studies she zealously
continued to travel as
much as in her childhood,
practicing her Spanish
and German. Her latest
projects include: Hai
(a typography based on
hand-brush painting),
Death_talks (a diploma
project around death
featuring 3 interviews,
2 scientific texts, and 11
tables), and new year
invitation cards
for Praline studio.
